Yosh: calm down helmi, i know what ijal meant just now. because of these events, the World War II was brought to end. the consequence is that our beloved country was released by the brutally Japanese army.

Helmi: a'ah, this then reminded me of my grandpa story on how misery was that live under the colonizer...where many of the villagers became the servants of theirs.

Yosh: guys, that is why la we must feel thankful being independant and also we must have a sense to protect our country.

si COPI ni seorng kanak2 yg manja, baru berusia 7 thn 2 bulan 0 hari, darjah 1 pintar, bersekolah di sek.ren.keb. mentega susu. makann kegemrn adalh apa2 yg berasskn keju, manakala minumn kegemrn adalh ais.kacng soya. mempunyai kucing kesayangn yg bernama yoyot. makann kegemarn si yoyot ni adlh kacang peanut. si yoyot ni merupkn kembr kepada cik yam, kucing kesayngn mama Copi. makann kegemrn cik yam ni pula adalh kangkung kerana suka tolong mama Copi kat dapur. Si Copi ni tinggal bersama papa, mama dan abang dan hidup dalam keadaan bahagia...

Basic of Energy and Electricity (at home n our country)

Bunyi entry pon dh mmbuatkn anda mls nk embacanya kan...haaha...dah tau dah...bear in mind ok...yg ak nk bg tau ni adalah asas/ basic and fakta tntng tenaga elektrik kat Malaysia ni...termasuk kt rumah anda pon....so jgn xtahu...of course lah..it can be very basic and i know certain of u of course know about this...but for whom doesn't know it can be very benefit kot..alah..sekadar pengatahuan am jer..senng nnti anak ker, ank buah ker,, jiran tetangga ker tanya anda..blh la anda jwb nnti..hehe....

ok...yg ni berdsrkn pengatahuan aku,, so kalau ada salah harap diperbetulkan ok....cayalah korng semua...

1. The default value (standardize) bg voltan yg terdpt di rumah anda yg anda aksesnya melalui wall socket (3 pins plug) itu adalh 240V (Vrms) dan mempunyai frequency tetap = 50Hz. so, cuma nilai inilah sahaja yg mampu menghidupkn semua peralatn elektrik kt rumah anda.
   


2. Bentuk gelombang nya pula (voltan ini) adalah sinusoidal (sine wave) atau juga istilahnya adalah AC (alternating current). so, cuba tgk dkt radio ker, mesti ada nilai ini: 240V, 50Hz, AC.
   
3. Tetapi ada juga menggunakan 'DC' bermaksud direct current. so, cara nk hidupkannya adalah melalui bateri.
   


4. 3 pins socket compose of ground (top), neutral (right) and live (left).. (everybody should know this!!). live wire cuma ada satu sahaja kerana connection circuit kt rumah kita adalh satu fasa sahaja.


5. SIRIM berpandukan standard dari IEC (International Electrotechnical Committe) bagi menetpkan piawai peralatn elektrik di Malaysia. MS dekat peralatn elektrik tu adalah label Malaysia.


6. terdapat 4 peringkat utama dlm sistem tenaga elektrik: generation, distribution, transmission and load.


7. generation di Malaysia kebanyakkannya menggunakan sumber tenaga diperbaharui (air) contohnya di empangan hydoelectric kenyir.


8. terdpt 11 kesemuanya empangan hydroelectric kt semennjung Malaysia.


9. yang paling besar adalah empangan Bakun di Borneo Sarawak (bakal disiapkan). rujuk my previous post.


10. manakala Kapar Power Station plk adalah yg paling besar bagi katogeri menggunkan sumber tenaga non-renewable, iaitu menggunakn coal~arang batu. Kapar power station (known as Thermal power station) ni menghasilkn sebnyk 2420 MW electricity. it is also the first coal fired power station in Malaysia.


11. at present, the transmission system in our country is at voltages of 66kV, 132kV, and 275kV.


12. then from transmission line , energy akan smpai ke customer melalui distribution system. the distribution system mewakili the final linkage btwn the consumers and the power stations.
    
13. disebbkan transmission line ni merupakan high voltage (HV) nyer system..so di penghujung transmission line tu akn terdpt step-down transformer utk turunkn nilai voltan ini to be supplied to the load centres via the distribution network.
14. the distribution voltages used in Malaysia are 33kV, 11kV, and 415/240V.
    
15. bagi nilai voltage yg besar iaitu 33kV and 11kV ni adalah utk kegunaam kilang2/ industri dan ia menggunkan sambungn litar 3 fasa.
    
16. manakala bagi rumah kediaman kita pula, cuma menggunkan 240V jer dan smbungn litar satu fasa.
    
17. semua perkara ini diuruskan oleh TNB dibawah KTAK.
    
18. Pusat tenaga Malaysia (PTM) di seksyen 18 bdr baru bangi tu plk yg akn bertanggungjwb pasal rule and regulation of electricity.
    
19. TNB juga dikenali sbg IPP (Independant power producer) dan yg pertama di Malaysia.

OK..DONE...all of these info are based on my understanding and if there any mistakes, plz let me know and i will corect it...btw.. there re still a lot more info and fact about energy and electricity that i would like to share with u from time to time.....so, keep up with me ok...CAYALAH KORNG SEMUA...

Kilat!! dan cara melindungi diri anda

Sekarng ni musim hujan kn kt negara kita, not only rain lah kn, but it accompanied by the lightning flash and its bang. Takut kan dgr bunyi kilat yg kuat disusuli dgn effect cahaya nya especially budak2. in fact ak dulu zaman kanak2 pon mmng selimut habis satu bdn lah bila terdengar bunyi guruh ni...hehe..korng pon kn...

Here are some short n brief information lah that i would like to share with u about the lightning and how to protect urself....selmt membacanya...

1. lightning merupakan proses discharge of electricity. Iaitu electron akn melompat/ tertarik oleh cas positif dibumi dr awan (cas –ve) dgn cepat dn disusuli oleh bunyi yg kuat.

2. or in other way around it is a static charge from clouds following the path of least resistance to the earth involving high voltage and current.

3. a strike can average 100 milion volts of electricity and current of up to 100, 000 amperes manakala suhu yg terhasil pula sebanyk 30,000°C. Pergh....dahsyat!! tu, So berhati2 lah anda semua...

4. in fact badan manusia pun mempunyai rintangan sekitar 1k ohm...so any lightning strike would bring damage on organ, human tissue..

5. so langkh pencegahan, jgn berada kt luar semasa lightning strike...hehe..as easy as that

6. but If u re outside, Immediately crouch down, get on the balls of your feet and cover your ears. Do not lie down or place your hands on the ground… it can be alike a complete circuit then!!..alah, mcm litar lengkap..perantaranya bdn manusia .. and bumi jadi ground…(theeee.hopefully u all can understand this)

7. lagi satu jgn juga berada dibawah pokok ker, pondok usang ker sebb tempt2 ni doesn’t have any good protection lah cam tiada grounding.

8. but if u re inside ur house and would like to leave ur house..remember the 30-30 rule!! ...>>> it state that ..after u see a flash of lightning, count to 30 snds.. >>> if ur count can’t reach to 30 scnds b4 u hear next thunder...>>> so better u keep staying inside..>>> after last flash lightning instorm,.>>> wait 30 minutes b4 leaving home ok...

9. fact shown that half of all people who died from lightning re struck after the storm is over..

10. Last but not least, make sure ur house too well equipped with full protection circuit n devices.

Perghh....quite relief now.... i ve done d viva for my final year project. above slides re among the few that i ve presented 2day...... .....

O.K, now Q&A session, Dr. Nowshad, do u ve any questions..... asked the chairman..... "o.k so what re the different btwn ur project n with my student project, is it the same thing...."... "emM... dr. in my case i did the threee phase while ur student did the single phase.. thats all d different".... seem thats he was not realy satisfied n happy with my answer..." 3-phase...but why??? what re the purpose of it.. is there any function of it... i meant the contribution.... but i knew, in case of my student, his developed inverter re capable to run the small electrical home appliances.. u see right? ..just know..it able to make the radio well functioning... n urs?? which part n where to use it???... n why not u choose the single phase instead of 3-phase" he asked again......

ha.... thats re a few questions la.... n there ve more of them...n i m not going to write it here..... back to his questions.... lucky for me coz of my supervisor was there n did back me up.. n i saw they re arguing each others... .. he..he... even my supervisor did the hard time to explained it.. how can i.....hoho.........thaks to him, dr. hanan.....Actually, both of them, my supervisor n examiner re the foreigner lecturers here.....

Done with the viva, we went to dr. hanan office n did a few discussion on what we should do next... hehe... forgot to mention la... my supervisor told me that.., he gave me full mark for my viva... Alhamdullillah... now d rest portion of the mark are depend onto dr. Nowshad only la. hopefully i will get the best from him..although i did hesisated n showed a lot of confusing reaction when answering his question.......pergh... i m very amusing now.... but my head like spinning now... may be bcoz of the rain la ni... seronok mandi hujan tadi...hahaha....

I m moody today

WHAT are the goddamn unlucky lor MU got, having suffered back to back defeats within 2 sequence matches..... Being ashamed on d last week match can be considered as O.K la coz the opponent, Liverpool itself is among the top rivals besides their skillful.... but it totally shouldn't been happened again la early this morning. coz it like meet o's match... one team at the top and the others(Fulham....now ranked no 8) can be considered as underdog...aiii...whats up happened with united lately ler.....not only they re losing 3 points but 2 men of theirs have been sent off.....uchh...very2 bad luck.... c'mon la Ferguson...do something ....don't be so cocky la over the 2 titles...u said u wanted 5.......look at ur team now!!! as a big fan of united.. i m very2 sad la..... now i m losing my mood for today......ushh.. i think i just wanna to sleep all the days........Guys,,,you better stay away from me...i m moody today.......

Exam... and my project progress....

LAST week was quite dense for me la... i had 1 mid term exam paper which was very tough subject in this semester and the deadline for the thesis draft.. and also the lab beside the daily activity. "take it easy ok....... i know u always can.. " ..ha..ha.. thats what my father used to told me when i were in secondary when he look at me in stressful cdtn... was a long time ago... but i still remember it... haha...how nostalgic that words even he never told me again back after then... yer la..coz i m grow up enough.. use my sensible thinking la...

BUT..........that was lucky for me to answer the past year exam Q..due to there was exactly d same questions come out in the mid term. Hoho.....

ALHAMDULILLAH.... i accomplished to answer all the Q without miss any single one of them. haha... very excited la after finished that exam... hopefully i will score the full mark.. coz this then ll contribute around 30% of the final exam percentage.

Back then,... the night b4 exam and also was the same night b4 the deadline... my printer buat hal..... no more ink.. totally running out.....ishk..ishk...ishk.... how can i never noticed it before... oh sh*t.. how frantic night la i thought. in dat haste situation, i did refill the cartridge by injecting the black ink into it with my bare hand only without any underlayer or something... like plastic glove.. .. i thought i was so careful enough la...but still the ink did smeared out over my hand, thus turned it into ghost hand..... ush.... very bad luck i got..... this then took me 3 days to damp down those shitty black sticky INK...

HAHAHA......... my friends laughed at me...oh... how can they asked me to immerse my hand into clorox.. just to clear out that sticky mess.. aiseh men....OH... what a brilliant idea la i said..... oh sh*t.. they just continued to laugh..... i knew they might find it hilarious but for me.. even that clorox word was like ringing in the ears la... what very annoying friends la they are..

K la... thats was my previous week. in this week also i still have one more exam paper....Besides rushing and struggling for the exam.. i need to make sure my final year project will start to run in this week.. then at least will give the first result by this weekend.. hopefully la coz in the end of the following week, i need to submit the first result.... InsyaALLAH i will manage it...

Now, i in progressing to control my pic trainer board la still.... not done yet.. there was some problems with its coding... so then i need to trubleshooting it again and again until it over la... so that i ll concentrate to another hardware.. eMMM.....talk about h/ware.. i have done the PCB for them..... so the remaining tasks are just to soldier them only while still in time waiting the coming output signal from that pic trainer board.

EXAM...QUIZ..ASSIGNMENT...FYP...all those things always circulated in my head n been haunted my nights even d days re approaching the end of semester...as for me this will become my last for everything... .. yer la coz this semester is the last i m being here as an undergraduate... but all those 4 things seem never ending perhaps till my last days here....so they ll stop..... ya... thats for sure la.....
To catch up for everything...... so.., as for that.. i need to sacrify my sleeping time.. make it shortage but make sure to maximize its benefit... hoho..... as so called memanfaatkan peluang yg ada semax yg mungkin... ..try la...mungkin susah la kot... not ordinary person can do it...hoho..merepek la...
